Create your own Manila site in minutes. Everyone's doing it!

Frontier cousins
I'm pretty sure the 1.0 site will be made in Manila, like this site is.

At least that's what I'm thinking would be easiest for Dave to oversee. He's been pretty hands-off about this. I just plod along and do things here and there on the draft site, not expecting to hear much from him unless I've wandered off into some objectionable area.

Because I've had my head in my work CMS this past week, I was thinking about other possibilities for the 1.0 site. It wouldn't make sense to go outside the family, but what about considering doing it in open source Frontier, partly as a last appeal to the kernel guys?

I don't know them, but judging from the reaction to Dave's recent post on the kernel list about OPML Editor users being the Frontier user community, it seems like their perception of "user" is different from Dave's and mine, and most of us who use the editor. Somebody even said he sees scripters as their users, so that makes me doubt if those particular developers and we particular users will be able to party together.

The 1.0 site would be a good showcase for them, I think. Anyone have a read on this?
